Biography & Introduce
Shri Deb Kumar Chatterjee, Director of Sports, K.C. College is in-charge of sports activities of since year 1992. He completed Bachelor (BPE) & Master (MPE) of physical Education Degrees from Lakshmibai National college of Physical education, Gwalior in year 1985 & 1987, respectively. His subject of specialization are Physiology and Kinesiology in Sporting event is Volleyball. He also attained specialization courses, 01-year Diploma in Coaching in sports from NSNIS, Patiala & 04 weeks short term Yoga courses from Kaivalyadhama, Lonavala (Maharashtra).
As a In-Charge of sports, he Organized number of Intercollegiate Sporting Events; and five times “All India Inter University Sports Events” in K. C. College in association with University of Mumbai. In Year 2007-08 Badminton (Men &Women), In Year 2015-16 Basketball (Men, 2017 Squash (Men &Women), 2018 Football (Men), 2019 Power lifting (Men & women)
Shri Deb Kumar Chatterjee has received Awards & Felicitation, such as; 1. Most Punctual Teacher – year 2012; 2. Outstanding Teacher – Year 2016; 3. K. C. Ratna Award Year – 2018; 4. Life Time Achievement Year 2019 – 20; 4. Selected by Mumbai University as Member of Core Committee in sports for 03 years from 2108 to 2021.
